Erin Mathews is dedicated to providing absolute satisfaction to every client through attentive service and ongoing relationships. In the past four years, Erin has sold over $250 million in homes with more than 90% of her business consisting of repeat and referral clients.

In 2006, Erin joined forces with another top producer and created the Mathews Nichols Real Estate Group at Briggs-Freeman Real Estate Brokerage. In that year alone, Mathews Nichols Real Estate Group set new records for luxury home sales.

A top producer and Senior Vice President at Briggs-Freeman, her sales have kept her in the top 1% of all Realtors in the nation.

As an established resident of Dallas for over 30 years, Erin specializes in luxury properties in the Park Cities, Bluffview, Greenway Parks, Preston Hollow and selected high-rises along Turtle Creek. Her extensive knowledge of these neighborhoods has enabled her to anticipate the trends of the Dallas marketplace as well as the needs of her clients, allowing her to also successfully facilitate many top executives’ relocation to the Dallas area from out-of-state and locally.

Longtime top producer David Nichols joined Briggs-Freeman Real Estate Brokerage in January 2006 as a senior vice president and partner of the Mathews Nichols Real Estate Group. His professional approach and dedication to the satisfaction of his clientele has continued to generate remarkable levels of sales due to his commitment to his clients. He is now among the top one percent of all realtors in the nation, with $80 million in sales in the last three years alone. Recognized for his impressive sales volume, David has been named one of Dallas’ Real Estate Power Brokers by D Magazine every year they have acknowledged local real estate “Giants.”

Born and raised in the Park Cities, David specializes in luxury properties in the Dallas areas’ most notable neighborhoods including Highland Park, University Park, Bluffview, Greenway Parks, Kessler Park, Oak Lawn, Preston Hollow and Turtle Creek. David is a member of several influential residential real estate groups including the Masters of Residential Real Estate, The Professionals of Real Estate and Urban Alliance. He also is involved in Preservation Dallas, Dallas Architecture Forum and Friends of the Katy Trail. David also serves on the advisory board for Modern Luxury Dallas.

Prior to joining Briggs-Freeman, David was a vice president at another local residential real estate company where his high production sales volume made him the top producer with that company for eight years. He also directed the residential and commercial division of Network Security in Dallas/Ft. Worth for 13 years prior to entering the real estate business.

His philosophy in the real estate business is to treat his clients the way he would like to be treated if the roles were reversed; and that means going above and beyond his clients expectations in every way possible.

Travis Mathews graduated from Cistercian Preparatory School and received his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia in only three years. He has photographed major sporting events for an international sports picture agency and his photographs have appeared in publications such as Sports Illustrated and ESPN the Magazine. He was recruited by CBS Television in Los Angeles where he lived and worked before returning to Dallas to pursue real estate.

As an industry trendsetter, Travis brings a fresh outlook and energy to his clientele, setting him apart from others in the field. Travis’ clients include executives and managers at some of Dallas’ most prominent institutions as Neiman Marcus Group, The Mansion on Turtle Creek and many others. In recognition of his sales achievements, Travis was named a Senior Vice President of Briggs Freeman Real Estate, a double honor since he is the youngest associate to have attained that level.

In addition to handling buyers and sellers, Travis is carving out a niche in sales and marketing of large scale residential developments. He is currently heading up the sales team for the Centrum Tower Residences, a $30 million condominium conversion project. He is also working with high-end homebuilders to bring their product to the marketplace.

Well versed in multi-million dollar transactions, Travis has established ties to reputable lenders, local resources and other industry professionals that enable him to provide the highest level of service to fit all his clients’ needs.

Priscilla Garcia is a sales associate with the Mathews Nichols Real Estate Group. As a Dallas native, she possesses a strong knowledge of the areas served by Briggs Freeman Real Estate Brokerage, specifically Uptown, Lakewood and historic East Dallas, Lake Highlands, Oak Lawn, Oak Cliff and the Turtle Creek corridor. With a proven ability to match buyers to the right property, her areas of expertise include working with first and second time homebuyers and condominium development sales. She credits her real estate success to her determination to build and maintain solid relationships with clients.

While acquiring a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of North Texas, she held an internship with a local commercial real estate company. She later realized her desire to build a long-standing career in real estate when working with a national builder. In addition to her professional endeavors, Priscilla has been involved in volunteer work at Jonathan’s Place, a shelter for abused, abandoned, and neglected children, since 2001 and currently serves as President of The Women’s Auxiliary for Jonathan’s Place.

Mitch Deshotels' is a sales associate with the Mathews-Nichols Real Estate Group, which was recognized as “Top Real Estate Group in 2007” at Briggs Freeman. His devotion to client satisfaction is evident from the moment you meet him. Mitch takes pride in the management of his clients’ transaction from start to finish. Clients benefit from his ability to utilize relationships and alliances with the industry’s best in the residential and financial services. Thus, creating a comprehensive offering clients appreciate.

He is a currently President of his neighborhood association, a member of Preservation Dallas and the Dallas Chamber of Commerce. Mitch has previous experience in residential appraisals and in sales and management for Fortune 500 software companies. Always the consummate gentleman, Mitch delivers exceptional personal service with his superior market knowledge. Mitch was “Top Ten Producer in 2006“with his previous brokerage company before joining the Mathews-Nichols Group.

Grew up in what outsiders call "Cajun Country." South Louisiana is home to a large population of French Canadian migrants called Cajuns. He attended the University of Louisiana - Lafayette where he played for the Ragin' Cajuns baseball team. After graduation, Mitch worked in his father's residential real estate appraisal company before moving to Dallas. In Dallas, Mitch worked in the technology sector for top software companies before diving into real estate. As a resident of Dallas for the past 13 years he now calls Dallas home where he resides with his wife and son.

Melinda Cates

Melinda Cates came to the Mathews Nichols Group with a resume reflecting her enjoyment and experience in providing service for the Dallas community. Raised in the Park Cities and an SMU graduate, Melinda worked as an assistant and teacher for Park Cities’ preschools and HPISD, most recently serving families as the Assistant Director at the UP Methodist Weekday School before moving into real estate in 2002. “Educators are natural salesmen,” shares Melinda. “You anticipate interests, discover needs, and strategize to accomplish goals.”

Melinda has in intimate knowledge of residences in the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Lakewood, and Turtle Creek areas. She and her family have worked to assist sellers in staging their homes for ten years. Her ability to design and organize floor plans to enhance any variety of style makes her a quick study of a home’s potential, an asset to the Seller as well as the Buyer looking to maximize their investment.

Beyond her husband, two grown children and an ever-present rescued golden retriever or two, Melinda has also devoted time volunteering through the Dallas Junior League, Highland Park PTA, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and Park Cities Presbyterian Church.

Over the years, a love of people and enthusiastic involvement in community and family organizations, Melinda has developed a large network of contacts she calls friends. She embodies a genuine joy in assisting others.

Brad Morris is an associate with the Mathews-Nichols Real Estate Group. Brad was born in Greenfield, Tennessee and resides in the Preston Hollow neighborhood in Dallas. He has an innate ability to deliver a high level of satisfaction as has been shown by his tremendous past success in retailing. He worked for the luxury retail store, Neiman Marcus, from 2001-2006. During that time he achieved Neiman Marcus’ Top Sales Associate Award in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

His devotion to client satisfaction is evident in his immediate successes since going into the real estate business in June 2007. In his first 7 months in real estate he achieved $7,000,000 in sales volume and his continuing success is evident in his ongoing sales numbers. He recently took over a condominium project that had been unsuccessfully marketed by another Dallas broker. Since listing the project that is owned by a prominent Dallas investor, Brad has sold 7 units in just 3 months. This was a project that had been marketed for over one year with very little success.

His engaging personality, devotion to his clients, and knowledge of the real estate inventory in the best neighborhoods continually help him provide a high level of service to his clients. He has strong knowledge of the Uptown, Oak Lawn/Turtle Creek corridor, Highland Park, University Park, Greenway Parks, Bluffview and Preston Hollow neighborhoods.
